Taproot Theatre’s Acting Studio Launches Brand-New Theatrelab for Adults

By:

You see actors all the time-on the stage, on TV, in the movies. Now it's your turn to give acting a shot, or brush up on your prior skills. This fall Taproot Theatre's Acting studio offers the brand-new Thearelab for adults. It's the perfect series of classes for the non-professional actor. Taught by several of Taproot's greats, students will experiment with many types of theatre-improv, Shakespeare and scenework, to name a few. Take just one class, several weeks, or stay for the whole quarter or more!

Theatrelab takes place on Mondays from September 26 through November 21, 7-9 p.m. (no class on Halloween). The class location will be announced soon. It's $160 for the quarter, or drop-in for $20 per class.

Theatrelab is part of the Acting Studio's fall quarter, which features classes for kids and adults of all ages. Fall quarter runs September 19 through December 30. Classes are held at Taproot Theatre (204 North 85th St.) and other locations in Seattle. Registration is open now. Registration forms and class descriptions will soon be available online at www.taproottheatre.org, or contact Taproot's Acting Studio at (206) 529-3668 or studio@taproottheatre.org.
