On August 9th at 7:00pm, Forward Flux Productions will present a reading of Sarah Saltwick's new play, "Tender Rough Rough Tender" at the XV Flux Salon gathering in Seattle.

The Salon will be held at a private loft in Pioneer Square (venue details shared after ticket purchase). The reading will be directed by Seattle favorite Kelly Kitchens, and will feature original music composed by Justin Huertas. Huertas will also be the musical guest at the Salon, sharing songs from his newest musical before the play reading. The Flux Salon presents new works by fresh voices in intimate spaces throughout Seattle.

"Tender Rough Rough Tender" is a modern love story set in Texas. "It's the hottest summer ever, and fires are blazing just outside of town. Bell is at capacity, working to empty her life; Mike is trying to fill his up. Escape the loneliness if you can."

The staged reading will be presented by Rachel Delmar and Trevor Marston.

The Flux Salon is an opportunity to explore neighborhoods in Seattle while meeting cool people and engaging with fresh new art. Tickets start at just $5 and are only available in advance at forwardflux.com
