As Seattle's movement collective centering people of color, queer people, and women, Au Collective returns for its second show from SEA - a celebration of and reverence to the joy, the sorrow, and the magic we carry in our bodies and communities.

With new works by world-class dance artists, Au Collective pays homage to the roots of its members. Though their heritage spans oceans, their pasts, presents, and futures are woven into the city of Seattle's lineage.

Given its vast array of technical strength and stylistic finesse, Au Collective presents a masterful blend of balletic lines and precision, hip hop-infused isolations and energy, and the artistic unpredictability of modern technique. Through its movements, the Collective honors the resilience of its communities and the necessity of dance as an act of resistance.

Tickets available starting April 21 at fromsea.bpt.me. Click the link for MORE on the new dances, and READ about Au members!

Au Collective is a Seattle-based movement collective and nonprofit that puts people of color, queer people, and women at the forefront of everything it does. Since its establishment in 2015, the collective has obtained a 501(c)(3) status, been produced by entities across Washington (Pacific Northwest Ballet, On the Boards, Seattle Art Museum, Bellingham Repertory Dance), and collaborated with organizations that center historically marginalized communities (Moksha, Yesler Community Center, Women.Weed.Wifi). Through performances, classes, youth workshops, and more, Au Collective is unapologetically realizing the world it wants to live in.
