Seattle Opera's Young Artists Program Presents DON PASQUALE 3/31-4/07
Seattle Opera's Young Artists Program makes its Meany Hall debut later this month with an all-new production of DON PASQUALE. The show runs March 31-April 7. Evening performances begin at 7:30p.m.; Sunday matinee begins at 2:00 p.m. When scheming Dr. Malatesta arranges for his friend Norina to marry the very rich (and very ancient) Don Pasquale, wedded bliss is not in store for the sorry old codger. Donizetti’s last masterpiece unfolds with gorgeous melodies as the audience laughs at the declining fortunes of Pasquale and cheer for the inevitable triumph of the young lovers. Seattle Opera’s Young Artists perform this beautiful score with fresh lyric voices and unbridled enthusiasm.
Tickets are $50; $20 for Students with ID.
Special Family Day matinee: Sunday, April 1 at 2pm. Tickets for students under 18 are $15.
