ACT - A Contemporary Theatre welcomes Sir Alan Ayckbourn to direct an entirely local cast for the American premiere of his play Sugar Daddies at ACT, now playing through November 3, 2013. BroadwayWorld has a first look at highlights below!

One of the most successful playwrights in modern theatre and a British National Treasure, Ayckbourn is also an accomplished director, most notably of his own plays. Ayckbourn received the 2010 Tony Award for Lifetime Achievement and has directed scores of plays at the Stephen Joseph Theatre in Scarborough. With 77 full length plays to his credit, Ayckbourn is widely known as the world's most performed living playwright. This will be a unique chance for American audiences to see his work as a director and a special honor for ACT audiences, who have seen ten of his plays produced at ACT since 1976.

The production will run Tuesdays - Thursdays, 7:30pm; Thursday Matinee, 2:00pm; Fridays, 8:00pm; Saturdays, 2:00pm & 8:00pm; and Sundays, 2:00pm & 7:00pm. All shows run at the ACT - A Contemporary Theatre in the Allen Arena Theatre 700 Union Street, Seattle, Washington.

The cast includes Anne Allgood as Charmaine, Emily Chisholm* as Sasha, Sean G. Griffin as Val, Elinor Gunn* as Chloe, and John Patrick Lowrie as Ashley.
