RABBIT HOLE, PETER PAN, And THE RURAL CHARACTERS Included In Whidbey Island Center For The Art's 3 For $33

By:

From now until April 6th, Whidbey Island Center for the Arts invites you to make a combined ticket purchase of "Rabbit Hole," "Peter Pan," and "The Rural Characters" for only $33!

Winner of the 2007 pulitzer prize for drama, Rabbit Hole is David Lindsay-Abaire's brilliant and critically acclaimed play about loss, heartbreak and forgiveness. Becca (Patricia Duff) and Howie (Tom Harris) have everything a family could want, until a life-shattering accident turns their world upside down. Using equal doses of humor and candor, this masterpiece is a refreshingly honest look at domestic tragedy and the healing power of love and family... A life affirming testament to the endurance of the human spirit.

Rabbit Hole is directed by Chris Fisher and features Max Cole-Takanikos, Patricia Duff, Tom Harris, Jill Johnson, and Melissa McAlerney. It runs from April 10 - 25, 2009. The performance schedule is as follows:

Live music gives new life to this silent 1924 version of Peter Pan, lovingly restored after having been "misplaced" for over 70 years.

Renowned harpist Leslie McMichael composed the new score for this black and white masterpiece.

The show will be performed on May 01, 2009 at 7.30pm.

For ticket information call: 360/221.8268 or 800/638.7631. The ticket office is open Wednesdays - Saturdays from 1.00pm - 6.00pm.

The Rural Characters, Whidbey Island's favorite foursome, return for their annual benefit concert in support of the Local Artist Series.

The Characters (Gordy Adams, Tom Fisher, Randy Hudson, and Tom Walker) and special guests will entertain you with down home Americana music - from poignant ballads to barbershop harmonies, and jug band jams to gospel standards. The boys can be counted on to put on an old-time barnburner that will make you get off your duffs and dance in the aisles!

The show will be performed from May 15 - 16, 2009 at 7.30pm.
