Set in an English garden, this play is replete with beekeeping and astrophysics. Imbued with heartbreak and wit, full of large questions about the universe and smaller questions about family dynamics, it is moving, sad and tremendously funny.

A timid, bumbling Cambridge astrophysicist is in search of the elusive Theory of Everything. After the sudden death of his father, he returns to the family home in the English countryside and is forced to acknowledge that his search for unity must include his own chaotic life. A climactic summer supper party brings tensions to a boil, in a scene that is both hilarious and heart-breaking.

May 25 - June 18 at the Fairgrounds Marie Boe Building

June 23 - July 9 - outside at Wold!

Since Island Stage Left offers all its performances free of charge, we do not sell tickets or take reservations (unless you are a member of the Star Circle), although donations are always appreciated.
