Photo Flash: First Look at LAURA At Tacoma Little Theatre
Tacoma Little Theatre brings Vera Caspary and George Sklar's noir classic, Laura, to life as part of its 100th Anniversary Season. This production is directed by Randy Clark and based upon the novel by Vera Caspary.
When Mark McPherson first falls in love with Laura, he knows he's in love with a phantom-for Laura is dead, and he's in charge of her murder investigation. From her portrait, her letters, her personal effects, and from his contacts with the three men who loved her, Mark has created an image of a woman tantalizingly alive and real. As the detective grows obsessed with the case, he finds himself falling in love with the dead woman. What really happened to Laura?
Tacoma Little Theatre's production of Laura features: Rodman Bolek (Mark McPherson), Joel Thomas (Danny Dorgan), BEN STAHL (Waldo Lydecker), Randon Welch (Shelby Carpenter), Valeria Sanchez Jimenez (Bessie Clay), Robin McGee (Mrs. Dorgan), Victoria Hope Ashley (A Girl), and Steve Tarry (Olsen).
Laura will run Friday, April 26, through Sunday, May 12, 2019. Friday and Saturday showings are at 7:30pm and Sundays at 2:00pm. Laura is recommended for ages 12 and up.
Tickets are $25.00 (Adults). $23.00 (Seniors 60+/Students/Military), and $20.00 (Children 12 and under). Tickets may be purchased online at www.tacomalittletheatre.com, or by calling our Box Office at (253) 272-2281. Group rates are available for 10 or more, and special FLEX passes for 6 are only $135.00.
There will be a special "Pay What You Can" performance on Thursday, May 9, 2019. Tickets for that performance are only available in person or over the phone.
