IT'S YOUR WONDERFUL LIFE Plays Jet City Improv, Now thru 12/21
Jet City Improv invites you to celebrate the spirit of the holidays with the return of its hit improvised play, It's Your Wonderful Life.
Based on the classic film, "It's a Wonderful Life", the show replaces the tale of everyman George Bailey (Jimmy Stewart), with the life story of a different audience volunteer every night, showcasing a new wonderful life.
Show creator and director Phill Arensberg (director of Quiz Show) says, "I thought it would be fun and ambitious to create a genuinely sentimental show. In IYWL, we take an audience member and plug them into the George Bailey role. We show episodes from their life, we show them in crisis and we give them a glimpse of the world if they had never been born. We show them that they really have had a wonderful life."
The cast of It's Your Wonderful Life includes: Elizabeth Brammer, Mike Christensen, Kris Corbitt, Joe Koenen, Amalia Larson, Will Li, JEd Thompson, Rob Whitehead and Trent Walkiewicz.
Jet City Improv will host an Opening Night Show and Gala Thursday, December 6th. Champagne and cake will follow the show, including a talk-back with the director, cast and crew.
It's Your Wonderful Life Performances are Thursdays and Fridays, tonight, Dec. 6-21 at 8 pm and then Saturdays, Dec. 8th, 15th, 22nd at 2pm at Wing-It Productions at 5510 University Way NE.
Tickets are $15 and $12 for Students, Seniors and Military. For more information, or to purchase tickets, visit www.wingitpresents.com/wonderfullife.
