FELT-A-CON Returns to Seattle, 8/10-12
FELT-A-CON, a small Seattle-based puppet festival, returns for its third iteration, August 10-12 at Theatre Off Jackson. Early Registration is currently available at a discounted fee. The regular Registration fee will take effect July 1st.
A weekend of activities celebrating the art of puppeteering, FELT-A-CON 2018 features our first ever celebrity Special Guest: Grant Baciocco of Mystery Science Theatre 3000 and Puppet Up! Also new this year is a Makers' Room sponsored by Seattle ReCreative, plus the return of Fussy Cloud Puppet Slam.
FELT-A-CON 2018 is a time for networking, education, fun, and outreach. The event will welcome both professionals and enthusiasts, and puppeteers of all skill levels, from beginners to legends. The weekend registration fee will grant attendees access to at least 4 workshops, Saturday lunch, Fussy Cloud Puppet Slam Vol. 15, and all other festival events.
Puppet professionals will lead workshops on a wide variety of topics, including tabletop puppetry, writing for Punch and Judy, and building puppets from recycled materials.
