DRACULA Opens Paradise Theatre's 4th Season Tonight
By: BWW News Desk
Paradise Theatre presents the opener of its 4th season -- "The Year of Adventure!" -- Bram Stoker's DRACULA by Steven Dietz, directed by Jeff Richards, running tonight, September 20 - October 6, 2013.
This "re-vamped" adaptation of the Dracula legend, by American playwright Steven Dietz and also based on the novel by Bram Stoker, promises suspense, screams, and of course - there will be blood. The performance is not appropriate for young audiences. This play, which is notable for its faithfulness to the plot, tone and characters in Stoker's 1897 novel, chronicles Count Dracula's journey to England and his stalking of two young women. Professor Van Helsing and his associates track Dracula back to his castle in the Carpatian Mountains of Transylvania, where he has fled, and attempt to drive a stake into his heart.Cast List:
