Founded by actress Jeanna de Waal (Wicked, Kinky Boots, American Idiot, Waitress, Finding Neverland), Broadway Weekends offers participants both the opportunity to learn from Broadway artists at the top of their profession and the exclusive insight into the life of a performer. Past teachers include 2018 Tony Award nominee Taylor Louderman and Tony Award winner Annaleigh Ashford.

During the pop-up event, participants will learn the music, the choreography, and fully stage a group ensemble number. The chosen number will include gentle dance and simple harmonies with solo opportunities for those who'd like them. The weekend will culminate in a live performance for invited family and friends.

"Broadway Weekends is a celebration of connection, community, and individuality. Some participants attend because they want to reconnect with a passion, others attend to try something totally new and out of their comfort zone. There are no auditions and no experience is required to take part," said Jeanna de Waal.
