Ben's Book Club is a comedy show hosted by Ben Pope, a stand-up comedian and bookseller, combining literary discussion with live comedy in a book club format. Each of the three shows features a different bestselling book and two comedian guests: Pierre Novellie and Celya AB discuss The Salt Path by Raynor Winn on the 17th, Rhys James and Amy Matthews tackle Kitchen Confidential by Anthony Bourdain on the 18th, and Ania Magliano and Temi Wilkey take on A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas on the 19th. The show features incisive interviews, literary takes, multimedia gags, and crowd games. The format has previously been a sell-out success in London before making its Edinburgh Fringe debut.
