Love, Katiuska is a one-woman cabaret show performed by Mexican-American, London-based vocalist Kat Lozano, making her Edinburgh Festival Fringe debut. Inspired by a diary entry she discovered from her fourteen-year-old self, the show explores the universal human desire to be seen, valued, and enough, blending cabaret, musical theatre, and personal storytelling. At the heart of the show is the moving story of Lozano's relationship with her Mexican grandmother, whose connection through music transcended a language barrier in her final days. The show examines the cost of seeking external approval and the journey towards self-acceptance, touching on themes of identity, ambition, family, and intergenerational dreaming.
