Meg Millane Will Return to Edinburgh Fringe With New Comedy BRIDE TO BE

Critically acclaimed performer Meg Millane (nee Chizek) is set to return to Edinburgh Fringe for the second time this Summer, with her new show Bride To Be, following success at New York Fringe earlier this year.

Following her success of her five-star acclaimed solo debut How to Give Up On Your Dreams (2024), which transferred to London last Autumn, Meg Millane returns to the stage with Bride To Be - a razor-sharp comedy about wedding planning, family pressure, and the immense cultural baggage of 'I do!'

This character-driven comedy follows Millane, deep in wedding planning, as she navigates cakes, DJs and family expectations, all while unravelling the history and cultural weight of marriage, forcing herself to confront what commitment actually means to her. Torn between spectacle and substance, she must decide if she's planning a wedding, or redefining it.

Bride To Be recently received multiple rave reviews including from Theatre Beyond Broadway, who declared the show 'craft in its highest form.' Millane is a New York City based comedian, actor, writer who has been described as having 'the energy of a chihuahua who's had a triple shot espresso' (Evulve Productions).

She recently enjoyed an off-West End transfer, and has performed at theatre festivals internationally including Edinburgh Fringe Festival, The Knockouts Comedy Festival, and was nominated for a Broadway World Off-Broadway Award.

Bride To Be is performing at Edinburgh Festival Fringe 7th - 15th August at 19.40pm (50 mins) Thistle Theatre at Greenside @ Riddles Court (venue number 16).
