LIPA (The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts) have partnered with their graduates David Hutchinson (Artistic Director) and Phillip Rowntree (Commercial Director) of Sell a Door Theatre Company. They began their producing careers with over 20 shows at the Fringe and have since gone on to produce over 50 productions, including the forthcoming large scale UK tours of The History Boys and Avenue Q.

Located in central Edinburgh at the St Stephen's Centre, Momentum Venues offers three performance spaces of different scales, geared to accommodating the highest calibre of fringe production on offer in 2015. The venue consists of The Grand, The Playhouse and The Studio.

With a 450 seated venue dedicated to musical theatre, The Grand will be the hub for musicals. The Playhouse (200 seats) will become home to bold plays, new writing and re-imagined work, and The Studio (50 seats) is to house exhilarating and exploratory theatre. Momentum Venues is not one to be overlooked when seeking to house your Edinburgh Fringe 2015 production.

With the understanding of how important a strong venue/company relationship is, Momentum Venues' key principal is to support every company, ensuring an enjoyable and memorable Fringe experience on a professional platform. New Writing is key to the ethos of Momentum and the management aim to promote and encourage companies who are producing exciting new works.

Momentum Venues offers a unique Fringe experience by providing longer turnarounds to ensure each Production has substantial time in its space. Maximum storage enables larger, higher quality sets to be used. Visiting Companies will also receive advice and support from a team well-versed in the Fringe and all it's challenges and charms.

Artistic Director David Hutchinson says "We have wanted to provide a better experience for companies. By joining forces with LIPA and finding a perfect venue, this is now, finally, possible. We want to play our part and marries well with LIPA's ambitions to continue to promote their graduate companies".

Mark Featherstone-Witty (LIPA's Founding Principal/CEO) says "This is another part of our original dream coming true. Partnering with David and Phillip is providing real world learning for our graduates and students, aside from being a part of their exhilarating world".
