Rob Auton is back with another show and another theme. After 2016's 'The Sleep Show', 2015's Water show, 2014's Face show- you get the idea. This year is hair. So with that in mind, Auton has not shaved or had a haircut since September 2016. The problem this year seems to be that he was perhaps expecting to be able to comb his new locks over his slightly thin material.

As Auton arrives on stage he is decked out in a suit of hair. He discusses hair loss and how it seems to know when to stop growing with some very funny angles and interesting takes on the subject matter but the mixture of serious and funny sections jar slightly. There are some genuinely fun moments including photographs of terrible haircuts and anecdotes about his own funeral.

If you've never seen Rob Auton before you'll be pleased to have discovered a talented wordsmith who is certainly a captivating storyteller but if you have seen his previous shows you think that perhaps it's time for him to branch out into covering more topics over an hour.
