Tell us a bit about Quetzals.

The Quetzal is the national bird of Guatemala as well as one of its monetary units. These vibrantly coloured animals are widely considered to be among the world's most beautiful birds. They live in the mountainous, tropical forests of Central America where they eat fruit, insects and lizards, and other small creatures. I don't mention any of these facts in my show.

Why bring it to Edinburgh?

Quetzals is an extremely high-scoring Scrabble word. I don't think the fringe has enough shows named after high-scoring Scrabble words. If you manage to use all seven letters on your rack for a 50-point bingo, with Q and S on triple word score squares and Z on a double letter score space, you can score a whopping 374 points.

What sets it apart from other shows at the Fringe?

I don't think there are any other shows that have both a Q and a Z in the title.

Who would you recommend comes to see you?

Anyone who can explain the rules of Scrabble to me.

Are there any other shows you're hoping to catch at the festival?

If anyone has a show called OXYPHENBUTAZONE I want to see it. At a possible 1778 points, In theory it highest-possible scoring Scrabble word, and nobody has ever played it before. Unbeatable!
