BWW speaks to Ed Patrick about his 2016 Edinburgh Fringe show Junior Optimist.
Tell us a little about your show Junior Optimist. What was the inspiration behind the show?
Fear, fun and opening up about being a comedian who's also a doctor.
And you¹re taking time out from the day job?
Yeah...you could say that (don't tell Jeremy)
Have you performed at the Fringe before and do you think you know what to expect?
I did a laid back show with 2 other comics last Edinburgh festival, it was there I started to mention a little bit about being a doctor onstage. I was pretty nervous at first but audiences enjoyed it and since then it's grown
Who would you recommend comes to see Junior Optimist?
Anyone and everyone. It's a show about my life as a junior doctor but also how it's changed me.
