Eligibility criteria

Graduating high school seniors from Pittsburgh Public Schools, PPS charter schools, or public schools in Wilkinsburg, Homestead, Duquesne, or West Mifflin districts. Minimum 2.4 GPA; plan to enroll in a 2- or 4-year accredited college or career school to study creative arts. Submit four original artworks to the Friedberg Awards Competition with MCG Invitational.

Overview

The Eleanor Friedberg Art Scholarship Fund of The Pittsburgh Foundation, in conjunction with Manchester Craftsmen's Guild, was created for graduating high school seniors interested in pursuing studies in the arts. Manchester Craftsmen's Guild produces the MCG Invitational Arts Exhibition which features the creative accomplishments of high school students working with the visual arts.
