The Players Flash Tappers Are Back After 3 Sold Out Performances
On March 16 at 7:30pm, prepare to be dazzled by The Arnold Simonsen Players Studio Performing Group, The Flash Tappers! This performance is an encore of last year's TapFASTic, which delighted audiences with three sold out shows in The Players Backstage Theatre. This year, these talented ladies of tap, will be performing on The Players Main Stage.
The show includes many well known tap numbers, while integrating videos featuring famous tap dancers of the past including Ruby Keeler, Savion Glover and more.
The Flash Tappers were conceived, directed and choreographed by Kay Siebold who utilizes the Debbi Dee technique for speed and clarity of tapping. TapFASTic features varying styles of dances ranging from Western, Broadway, Character, Jazz, Hoofin', Precision, Ragtime, '50s and more.
