Neil Berg Brings 112 Years Of Broadway To The Van Wezel

Back by popular demand, Neil Berg brings his company of extraordinary Broadway stars to Sarasota in an all new show with 112 Years of Boadway on Wednesday, March 9 at 7:30 p.m.

112 Years of Broadway recreates the greatest moments from the finest shows of the century featuring the actual stars of shows such as The Phantom of the Opera, Les Misérables, and Escape to Margaritaville. These amazing performers light up the stage with songs from the hit shows in which they starred. Neil Berg presents brilliantly revived arrangements of Broadway classics as well as thrilling numbers from Broadway's newest hit shows. Outstanding entertainers, complimented by top-notch musicians; each singer and musician is an accomplished star in their own right and when that kind of talent blends together it makes for an enchanting evening of "Broadway Heaven", not to be missed.

The most successful touring Broadway concert will include performers Brook Wood (Nikola Tesla Drops The Beat, Rockers on Broadway, Post Modern Jukebox On Deck), Kareema Khouri (Hercules the Musical, Respect, The Blues Brothers Show), Matthew Sims (Hairspray, Motown the Musical), Joey Calveri (Rock of Ages, Wonderland, A Bronx Tale), Justin Mortelliti (Escape to Margaritaville, Clueless: The Musical), Richard Todd Adams (The Woman in White, Les Misérables, The Phantom of the Opera) and Rebecca Pilcher (The Phantom of the Opera, Mary Poppins, Till Divorce Do Us Part). Musical director and pianist Neil Berg will also be joined by drummer and percussionist Roger Cohen, bassist Abraham Saenz, guitarist Mike Wilson, and keyboardist Jeremy Beck.

Tickets are $44-$65 and can be purchased at www.VanWezel.org, by calling the box office at 941-263-6799 or by visiting the box office Monday through Friday between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Groups of 10 or more should contact 941-263-6726.
