GIRLS JUST WANT TO HAVE FUN at Raue Center for the Arts
Experience a blast from the past with all the glam, bright colors and totally rad pop music of the 1980s at Raue Center For The Arts! Singer-songwriters Lisa Rock and Sari Greenberg bring the sing-and-dance-along songs of the '80s to the stage with "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" at 8 p.m. on May 19, 2017.
The 1980s produced big voices with big personalities, from Cyndi Lauper to Madonna, Michael Jackson to Prince and Culture Club to Duran Duran. Now, Rock and Greenberg have written an homage to this unforgettable era with "Girls Just Want to Have Fun."
"Girls Just Want to Have Fun" features songs from all the iconic bands of the era and exciting new twists on favorite 1980s hits. All songs feature fabulous vocals by Rock and Greenberg in front of a stellar 4-piece backing band. The perfect show for a girls' night out, "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" will have crowds putting on neon, busting out their hairspray and wearing that one white glove for a night of fun - '80s style!
