Lucky Penny Productions Announces '8 X 10' Short Play Festival Selections

Lucky Penny Productions announces the eight plays chosen for "In Love with the 8 x 10: A Festival of 10 Minute Plays" set for staging in early 2016. Using a "blind" reading process, the committee read 107 plays submitted from authors all over the country and selected:
- A Rocky Relationship by Chip Bolchik, Thousand Oaks CA
- Heaven Scent by Andy Creane, Clifton VA
- Home Again by Rod McFadden, Martinez CA
- Labradors in Heat by Wally Carbone, Germantown NY
- Small Talk by David MacGregor, Howell MI
- Tea for Two and Tony Too by Michael F. Bruck, New York NY
- The Golden Years by Joe Starzyk, Troy NY
- The Marriage Game by Joan Anderson and Dorothy Sanders, Ft. Worth TX
Works by MacGregor and Starzyk were selected for the first "8 x 10" in 2012 and again in 2015.
Directors for this year's winners have also been chosen. They are Debbie Baumann, Jenn Rugyt, Kat Williams and Megan Palagi, all from Napa.
Performance dates for "In Love with the 8 x 10" are January 29 through February 13 at the new Lucky Penny Community Arts Center, 1758 Industrial Way in Napa.
