PRESS HERE,THE MUSICAL Invites Audience Along On A Dot-filled Adventure
Colorful Dots-Yellow, Red and Blue-cavort onstage and off, while audience members are invited to accompany two clowns, Page and Turner, on a magical adventure at Press Here, the Musical, an original production by Bay Area Children's Theatre (BACT).
Inspired by Hervé Tullet's award-winning picture book, Press Here, about the power of imagination, Press Here, the Musical, uses catchy tunes, slapstick, juggling, and audience participation to tell the story of Page and Turner's multiple encounters with The Dots, as the duo try to ready the Mom and Pop Dot Shop for its Grand Opening.
Directed by Nina Meehan, with book, music and lyrics by Andrew Quick and Austin Zumbro, Press Here, the Musical, opens Saturday, March 30, and plays weekends through May 12 at BACT's Berkeley Center, 2055 Center Street, Berkeley, CA 94704, before moving to Sunnyvale and San Francisco.
