Bay Street Theatre is proud to announce the winter line up of its ever-popular classic films series, the Picture Show at Bay Street, presented by BookHampton. These classic films are presented as they were meant to be seen-on the big screen, and will run every Friday and Saturday evenings. The doors open at 7:30 and films start at 8pm. $5 tickets are available at the door.

Despite the tough economic times, Bay Street has not only made the decision to stay open during the cold winter days, but they remain committed to providing low cost entertainment opportunities for the entire community to enjoy. In keeping with this theme, Bay Street is presenting its ‘Economy Buster' offerings which include keeping the $5 ticket prices for these classic films.

While the theatre tries to do its part, Julie Fitzgerald, Managing Director/Development stated how fortunate the theatre is to be supported by such a giving community. "We couldn't provide this program, nor keep the ticket prices unchanged without the support of the people who continue to patronize the theatre, as well as the additional support by BookHampton for this series. We truly appreciate their generosity, especially during these difficult times." Ted Conklin of the American Hotel has also stepped up again this season and agreed to keep the $25 Dinner & A movie package that has been offered in past years, which includes a 3 course dinner and a ticket to the film. Dinner reservations should be made by calling the hotel directly.
