42nd Street Moon to Present Rodgers and Hart's I MARRIED AN ANGEL, 10/30-11/17
Continuing its 21st season, 42nd Street Moon presents the hilarious Rodgers and Hart musical I MARRIED AN ANGEL at the Eureka Theatre (215 Jackson Street). The show follows a wealthy banker who, disillusioned with women, decides the only suitable mate for himself would be an angel. An angel from heaven hears his plea, and after marrying her, he discovers that her perfection includes an inconvenient habit of telling the uncomfortable truth. The bright and effervescent score includes "Spring is Here," "I'll Tell the Man in the Street," "A Twinkle in Your Eye," "Did you Ever Get Stung?," and "Angel Without Wings."
The show previews October 30 - November 1 then runs from Saturday, November 2 - Sunday November, 17. Showtimes are 7 p.m. on Wendesdays and thursdays, 8 p.m. on Fridays, 6 p.m. on Saturdays and 3 p.m. on Sundays. There will be a student matinee Saturday, November 9 at 1 p.m.
