Sean Cox and John Rosen to Star in JOE VS THE VOLCANO, 6/8-7/29; Full Cast Announced!
Lamb's Players Theatre today announced the cast for JOE vs. THE VOLCANO… The Musical by Scott Hafso and Darcy Phillips, based on the film by John Patrick Shanley.
Joe Banks will be played by Sean Cox and Mr. Waturi by John Rosen. Dede, Angelica and Patricia will be played by Eileen Bowman, DR. Ellison by Jason Heil, Graynamore by Jim Chovick, Marshall by TJ Johnson and Baw by Brian Rickel. Playing multiple roles, including members of the Waponi tribe, will be Danny Boman, Kathleen Calvin, Nicki Elledge, Greg Good, Caitie Grady and Krysten Hafso.
JOE vs. THE VOLCANO goes into Previews June 8, with Opening Night June 22*, running thru July 29. Performances are Tue, Wed, Thu at 7:30 / Fri at 8 / Sat at 4 & 8 / Sun at 2 at Lamb's Players Theatre, 1142 Orange Ave, Coronado, CA 92118.
The world premiere of JOE vs. THE VOLCANO…The Musical is directed by Lamb's Producing Artistic Director Robert Smyth, with musical direction by Jon Lorenz and choreography by Colleen Kollar Smith. Costume design is by Jeanne Reith, scenic design by Michael Buckley, lighting by Nathan Peirson, props by Michael McKeon and sound by Patrick Duffy. Maria Mangiavellano is the production's stage manager.
*opening night has been changed from June 15 to June 22. Previews will extend up until the opening.
