National Comedy Theatre's ACHORDING TO US to Perform One Night on Cygnet Theatre's Stage

By: Apr. 05, 2017

National Comedy Theatre (NCT), San Diego's professional Improv Comedy Theatre that last month hit the magic 5,000th show mark - brings their full-length completely improvised musical - aChording to Us - to Cygnet Theatre's stage in Old Town. The performance is Monday, April 24th at 7pm. The location is 4040 Twiggs Street.

The audience gives ONE suggestion... the keyboard starts playing...and a brand new full-length musical is born. While. You. Watch. Improvisation at its most adrenaline-surging finest.

NCT Artistic Director, Gary Kramer shared "We are excited to be bring aChording to Us to Cygnet Theatre's stage. This is always one of our audience favorites - and it really needed a larger venue. I am a regular Cygnet patron myself - and enjoy the creative filter over there. Cygnet has the ability to take a familiar story and look at it differently - thinking outside the box. That ability to think outside the box and show stories in a different way is a big part of how National Comedy Theatre operates as well. We create as we go...and adding the musical element into that adds a level of creative energy that I know will resonate with Cygnet's audience. At the same time - we get to introduce our largely millennial patrons to their space...something new for both of our audiences. It's exciting."

aChording to Us, a NCT production, features some of San Diego's finest comic talents. Chris Daily, Alison Ramsay, Michael Maury, Rachel Pomeroy & Casey Gardner. The incredible Yaron Guez is on keys - deciding when the story turns to song....

Full Price Tickets are $25. Cygnet Theatre and National Comedy Theatre patrons are $20.To Purchase tickets call the Cygnet Box Office at 619-337-1525 or
