From September 24 to 26, 2009, the Joan B. Kroc Institute of Peace & Justice is presenting a three-day event to highlight the ability of the arts to transform individuals and reconcile communities who have suffered conflict and violence. Titled Bearing Exquisite Witness, the festival will showcase playwrights, filmmakers, poets, musicians, visual artists and academics from the fields of theater arts and conflict resolution who are using the creative power of art to raise awareness, prevent violence, help communities recover, change policies of exclusion and heal trauma.

Mo`olelo is pleased to participate in this festival by presenting a reading of the play Dog and Wolf by Catherine Filloux on Thursday, September 24 at 3:00 PM in the Peace and JustIce Theatre at the Institute of Peace and Justice on the USD Campus.

The reading of Dog and Wolf will be directed by Carrie Klewin and feature actors Robert Barry Fleming, Sandra Ellis-Troy and Seema Sueko.
