Lamb's Players Theatre announced today that it is extending the run of its hit musical revue MIXTAPE through Sunday, May 27th.

MIXTAPE, the greatest hits of the 80s, is now in its 3rd year at the Horton Grand Theatre in San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter.

MIXTAPE is written by Jon Lorenz and Colleen Kollar Smith and directed by Kerry Meads with musical direction by Jon Lorenz and choreography by Colleen Kollar Smith.

"Mixtape was great from the start," said Lamb's Producing Artistic Director, Robert Smyth, "but over the past year Kerry, Jon and Colleen have refined and tightened the production considerably. It's now amazing. And the audience responds accordingly."

"No one thought a piece developed here would run in San Diego this long. But word-of-mouth and people coming back and bringing friends has built an amazing momentum," said Smyth. "If April stays this strong, we'll extend it through Labor Day. After that, who knows."

MIXTAPE performs Wed & Thur at 7:30 / Fri at 8 / Sat at 8 / Sun at 4

At the Horton Grand Theatre – 444 Fourth Ave (between Island and J St), San Diego 92101

Tickets are available through the Lamb's Central Box Office – 619.437.6000 (Tue – Sat, noon to 7) or online - lambsplayers.org
