BWW Mini Blog: Woodlawn Theatre: Shrek, The Musical - Morgan Clyde as Fiona

Mini Blog by: MORGAN CLYDE as Fiona
The View From Fiona's Tower
Yay, welcome to my mini-blog! My name is Morgan, and I'm playing Fiona in The Woodlawn Theatre's "Shrek: The Musical". Here's a slice of life from my corner of the stage.
First rehearsal with the band! This is where it starts to get real, guys. Full cast, full music, microphones, the whole shebang. There's something about hearing all the layers of the music that sparks that magical feeling, especially in the midst of all the hard work with choreography and vocal prep. I can't wait to get all of the pieces together. Stay tuned!
Until next time, enjoy this picture of Shrek and me, putting our mics on for the first time!

Morgan is no stranger to the Woodlawn, having spent time both on the stage in "Rock of Ages" and "Sweeney Todd", and as fight master for shows such as "West Side Story", "Peter Pan", and "Pippin". She is not only an avid performer and fight choreographer; she is also a director, a designer, and a playwright. Notable performances include Justice in "Rock of Ages", Audrey II in "Little Shop of Horrors" (Vexler Theatre), and her award-winning Kate in "Taming of the Shrew" (Classic Theatre).
Shrek, The Musical plays at the Woodlawn Theatre in San Antonio, Texas from June 30-July 30, 2017. Purchase tickets at the Woodlawn Theatre's Website. It's going to be a fun family show for everyone!
