Utah State University Honors Steven Peterson

Steven Peterson, Executive Director of Maine State Music Theatre, will be honored as a Distinguished Alumnus on January 18th during USU's Caine College of the Arts (CCA) first Celebration of the Arts. Mr. Peterson has also been selected to mentor students from CCA in order to share his insights about achieving success and fulfillment in the field of Theatre Arts.

"This networking event brings our most honored and distinguished alumnus back to Utah State University and the Caine College of the Arts for the sole benefit of our students," said Craig Jessop, Dean of the Caine College of the Arts. "As educators, it is critical to connect graduating students to alumni who can understand the expectation of this current job market. It provides a mentoring relationship that can better prepare students to succeed."

The Caine College of the Arts blends intensive artistic instruction with a strong academic program for more than 1,100 majors. CCA includes the departments of art, music and theatre arts, as well as an interior design program and the Nora Eccles Harrison Museum of Art.
