Concluding its 2018 season, The Ziegfeld Theater will bring its original Christmas musical back to the stage with more family fun, bigger laughs and lots of heart.

It's the most magical time of the year! A Fairly Potter Christmas Carol tells a hilarious and heartwarming Christmas story with an exciting original score by Rick Rea. While lovingly poking fun at the characters and universe of Harry Potter, this magical story combines elements from holiday favorites such as A Christmas Carol, How the Grinch Stole Christmas and more!

Young Jerry Potter grows up disliking Christmas and the arrival of a certain jolly old elf to his wizarding school only complicates the issue. Meanwhile, You-Know-Who, depressed by his unhealthy obsession with killing a teenage boy, plots to kidnap Father Christmas, take over Christmas, and then... the world! Can Christmas be saved and can Jerry and You-Know-Who learn the true reason for the season? As the plot unfolds in this comedic spoof, don't be surprised if you also shed a tear or two.

A Fairly Potter Christmas Carol is directed and choreographed by Joshua Samuel Robinson with music direction by Kyle Lawrence.

The Ziegfeld Theater finishes its sixth season with an original musical parody for the whole family. Under the executive leadership of Caleb Parry, the theater pursues a mission of "Professional Standard, Community Spirit" as it strives to bring quality entertainment to diverse audiences in Northern Utah.
