Hale Centre Theatre (HCT), Utah's professional family theatre, officially unveiled its 2016 play book, which includes the first US post-Broadway regional theatre production of The Pirate Queen, a regional premiere of Sister Act, a favorite Disney princess, and the return of an award-winning audience favorite, that will "float your boat."

"We are overjoyed to announce our wonderful new season," said Sally Dietlein, HCT vice president and executive producer. "We have selected the 2016 entertainment season especially for our Utah patrons who love live theatre filled with humor, heart and outstanding music. All the shows will feature the best-of-the-best acting and vocal talent of people who live and work in Utah, and will showcase the handiwork of our amazing employees who stage the productions, create many of the costumes, build the sets and operate our one-of-a-kind moving stage."

BEAU JEST

December 31, 2015 - January 30, 2016

Simply one of the funniest comedies ever written! ... Lovely Jewish parents ask their charming Jewish daughter to bring home the beau she has been dating for months. But wait! He's not Jewish - so she hires an actor to play the Jewish boyfriend to please her folks. Problem solved? Absolutely not! By James Sherman. THE PIRATE QUEEN

February 12 - April 2

SISTER ACT
