Saratoga Springs Theatre Collective Promotes Local Theatre Productions and News
Saratoga Springs Theatre Collective is a new online community focused on theatre in Saratoga Springs, Utah and the surrounding area. It is a resource that promotes diverse live theatre experiences for performers and audiences in the area, including community, youth, school, and church performances.
The organization's Facebook page is www.facebook.com/SaratogaSpringsTheatreCollective, and it's website is sstheatreco.blogspot.com. Through its online presence, it shares all the information local audience members need to know about nearby productions, youth classes, and other theatre-related activities, including show titles, dates, prices, and locations. It also shares reviews, written by Saratoga Springs residents, of significant performances in Utah that may be of interest to their neighbors.
In addition, the website includes audition notices and information about music and other merchandise that is connected to the Saratoga Springs theatre community.
A noteworthy inclusion in the website's current list of shows and events is the U.S. elementary school premiere of Andrew Lloyd Webber's STARLIGHT EXPRESS from December 5 to 7, 2013. Lakeshore Academy in Saratoga Springs will be the 6th theatre or school in the nation to produce the hit musical.
Saratoga Springs Theatre Collective is a fully volunteer effort. It strives to be the most complete resource on local theatre available and asks for tips from theatre practitioners and patrons to help ensure it is covering everything relevant happening in the community.
