SCERA Slates 7th RIDE FOR THE ARTS for Aug 29
As part of a continuing fundraising effort, SCERA announces their 7th Ride For The Arts, a charity motorcycle ride to take place on Saturday, August 29, 2015. The ride will kick off with a light breakfast and check in/registration at SCERA Center for the Arts, 745 South State, Orem at 9:00am, and leaving at 10:00am for a three hour group ride to Wolf Creek Pass, ending up back at Timpanogos Harley Davidson in Lindon for lunch and prizes.
As a bonus, riders can choose tickets to a concert at SCERA Shell Outdoor Theatre: Country music superstar Clay Walker on August 28 or Arrival: The Music of Abba on Labor Day, Sept. 1. The concert experience also includes a pre-show dinner, VIP meet and greet, and photo with the arts, as well as a reserved seating area.
All the activities are included for $35 for a single rider and $55 for a rider and passenger. 100% of the proceeds will go to support SCERA's non-profit Endowment for the Arts. Those interested may register and pay online at www.scera.org or call (801) 225-ARTS.
"Our last six rides have been very successful, " says Adam J. Robertson, SCERA's President & CEO. "Each year we meet new friends and welcome back old friends. If you have a bike, come join us. While you're enjoying the open air and a great concert, you're also helping out a worthy charitable cause and supporting the arts."
