The Classical Greek Theatre Fesival's production of Euripides' Herakles is a captivating portrayal of the effects of war upon the psyche of a soldier returning from the battlefield struggling to reintegrate with society.

Originally set in Ancient Greece, director Hugh Hanson translates this production in a modern post-Vietnam America with soldiers returning home from war only to struggle with the depths of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.

Translation by Anne Carson. Directed by Hugh Hanson.

The show runs Saturday, September 17, 2016 with a 7:00 PM pre-show discussion and 7:30 PM performance. Free Admission. At Utah Cultural Celebration Center, 1355 West 3100 South, Outdoor Amphitheatre.
