Eileen's Salt Lake City show will feature some of today's best Irish musicians and dancers, as well as local dancers from the Crawford School of Irish Dance <http://www.crawfordirishdance.com/> , the oldest Irish dance school in the state of Utah!
The New York Times calls Eileen Ivers "the Jimmy Hendrix of the violin." Coming from the original production of Riverdance, Ivers has established herself as the pre-eminent exponent of the Irish fiddle in the world today. "She electrifies the crowd with a dazzling show of virtuoso playing," says The Irish Times. Eileen created Beyond the Bog Road, a multimedia concert of music, story, dance and film. The concert is a celebration of the immigrant's journey - it is the story of the Irish immigrant's impact on America and America's impact on the Irish immigrant.
