Fun costumes, wonderful music, and a delightful theatrical experience await your family at Imagination Theater this December. The holiday favorite, Irving Berlin's White Christmas opens December 2. Based on the beloved and timeless 1954 film starring Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, and Rosemary Clooney, the musical version went on Broadway for the holiday season in 2008 and 2009.
The story revolves around Bob Wallace and Phil Davis, two iconic song-and-dance men who follow a sister act to Vermont, only to discover that the nearly-bankrupt lodge they were to perform at is owned by their former commanding general. The dazzling score features well known standards including "Blue Skies," "I Love a Piano," "How Deep is the Ocean," and the perennial favorite, "White Christmas."
Show times are Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 7:00 p.m. with matinees at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 3, Sunday, December 11, and Saturday, December 17. There are additional shows on Tuesday and Wednesday, December 20 and 21 at 7:00 p.m. The play closes on December 23. Tickets are $17 for adult, $14 for seniors, and $10 for children. Advance ticket purchase is strongly encouraged. Tickets can be purchased at at www.it-tickets.org or by contacting the box office at 530-642-0404. Group tickets are available by phone only.
