The Putnam Chorale will present two concerts titled Shimmering Nights: Songs of Mystery and Wonder on December 6 and 7, 2025, featuring their 80-member ensemble. Under the direction of Dr. Jason Tramm, the program will explore themes of light, mystery, and spiritual reflection through a diverse repertoire that includes works by Benjamin Britten and Ola Gjeilo. Notably, the Chorale will perform the world premiere of The Serenity of Snow, composed by award-winning artist Robert S. Cohen, offering a radiant meditation on beauty and renewal. Accompanied by harp, cello, and piano, this concert promises a journey into the serenity of the night.
