The White Plains Performing Arts Center play reading series that features the Tony Award-winners for "Best Play" since the award's creation in 1948 continues with this months' reading of T.S. Eliot's The Cocktail Party on Thursday, October 23 at 8:00 pm. Tickets are $10 each. The Nakd Stage Play Reading Series features actors with scripts in hand, no sets, costumes or props. IT'S ALL ABOUT THE WORDS.

This portrait of the age of anxiety in modern life searches the shadows of the soul that lie beneath the surface of human hearts and minds. In blank verse, poet and playwright T.S. Eliot portrays a society devoid of connection as "an unidentified guest" appears at a cocktail party in the home of a man and wife who have fallen out of love with each other and their life of indulgent complacency.

The cast includes Kimberly Abrams, David Berman, Emma Berdie Donson, Joe Fellman, Elise Godfrey, Arthur Lazalde and Jen McGuire. This staged reading of The Cocktail Party is directed by Jeff Raab.

Join us as we rekindle memories of great, award-winning plays and focus on the powerful words and intentions of amazing playwrights.

The reading is set for October 23 at 8:00 PM. Tickets: $10. To purchase tickets: visit the theatre box office, purchase the tickets online at www.wppac.com or call 914-328-1600.
