Little Radical Theatrics, Inc. has announced its Summer 2018 production: RAGTIME, with lyrics by Lynn Ahrens, music by Stephen Flaherty, and book by Terrence McNally, based on the novel by E.L. Doctorow.

In an effort to truly live up to its name, Little Radical Theatrics will be bringing to Westchester a wildly theatrical, moving, and innovative retelling of one of musical theater's most celebrated contemporary classics, RAGTIME.

Set in turn-of-the-20th-century New York, a trifecta of inspiring tales are woven together - of an upper-class wife who unexpectedly becomes a single mother, a determined Jewish immigrant, and a daring, young Harlem musician - united by their courage, compassion, and belief in the promise of the future, as the original melting pot is on the verge of boiling over. Together they confront the timeless contradictions of wealth and poverty, freedom and prejudice, hope and despair, and what it means to live in America.

With the aid of an ensemble cast of all ages, a stark, minimalist set, and the limitless possibilities of imagination, we enter the famed attic of "the house at the crest of the Broadview Avenue hill in New Rochelle, New York," wherein so much storied history had been shaped, and will be brought back to miraculous new life.
