Actual siblings play fictional siblings in THE FARM at FringePVD. THE FARM, a play by Davis Alianiello, received its New York City premiere as part of The Lighthouse Series at the SoHo Playhouse in April. FringePVD will be its Rhode Island premiere. The Farm is a comedy about language, belief, and belonging. When Tyler returns home after two years in a cult, his sister Sasha must face how his arrival alters her reality. On the long drive home, both siblings reveal more than they intend. THE FARM will be performed at The Wilbury Group on July 17th @ 8:30 PM and July 18th @ 7 PM. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased on the FringePVD website. Beth Alianiello (Sasha) is a resident artist at the Wilbury Theatre Group, an OutLoud Theatre core ensemble member, and a frequent volunteer with the Manton Avenue Project. She lives in Providence with her husband and two children. Davis Alianiello (playwright / Tyler) is a Brooklyn-based playwright. His play Snake was a second place recipient of the Paula Vogel Award in Playwriting from the Kennedy Center, and is a current finalist for the Bay Area Playwrights Festival. He has developed new work with Seven Devils Playwrights Conference, The Wilbury Group, The Boston Center for the Arts, and more. His plays have been performed in twenty seven states and nine countries. More at davisalianiello.com Sam Taber (music) is a musician and educator from Providence. He plays piano solo, with his family, and with different bands across Southern New England.
