Trinity Rep's 50th Anniversary Open House & Block Party Set for this Weekend
Trinity Repertory Company, recently named The State Theatre of Rhode Island, opens its doors on August, 17th for Trinity Rep's 50thAnniversary Block Party & Open House. The company invites the community to celebrate this milestone with them at the theater at 201 Washington St., with a wide range of family-friendly activities planned from noon until 8:00 pm. Highlights of the day include performances and appearances from over a dozen of the best and brightest professional, community, and children's theater groups from across the state, tours, acting classes, demos, a prop & costume sale, live music, and more.
In celebration of the 50th season, attendees will be able to purchase discounted tickets for The Grapes of Wrath, Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, Intimate Apparel, Oliver!, Veronica Meadows and A Lie of the Mind. Tickets will also be on sale that day online at www.trinityrep.com, and by calling the box office at (401) 351-4242.
