Trinity Rep Celebrates Under35@TRC with a Social Creatures Party, 4/4

By:

Trinity Repertory Company has announced their Under35@TRC Zombie Prom Night, the first in a series of Under35@TRC nights brought to you by The Onion. The April 4 event will begin at 6:30pm in the upstairs lobby with a pre-show party featuring complimentary cocktails from Sons of Liberty Spirits Company, catering by The Bradford, and a zombie prom photo booth. After the show, guests are invited to walk up street to Blake's Tavern for an Onion after-party with $2 Narragansett. Tickets for the entire night cost $25 and may be purchased by phone at (401) 351-4242 or at the Trinity Rep box office at 201 Washington St in Providence.

Associate artistic director Tyler Dobrowsky who came up with the idea for the party says, "I am thrilled to kick off the Under35 parties with Social Creatures. It's new, it's written by a young playwright, it's very funny, very smart, and also features a complete zombie blood-fest."

You must be a member of Under35@TRC to purchase, and joining Under35@TRC member is free. Once enrolled, anyone under 35 years-old can purchase a $25 ticket to each play in the regular season. To join the program, call (401) 351-4242, email under35@trinityrep.com or signup online at www.trinityrep.com. Registered members will also receive invitations to Under35@TRC events, post-show parties and drink specials sponsored by The Onion.

The program has been made possible by a sponsorship with The Onion, a free satirical weekly that launched its first Rhode Island edition last year. Thanks to Providence's Gaspee Publishing, local readers are able to easily find "America's Finest News Source" right in their own neighborhood as 35,000 copies are currently distributed each week throughout Rhode Island and Bristol County.
