Rhode Island Monthly Votes PPAC 'Best Theater' In 2009 Readers Poll

Rhode Island Monthly President and Publisher John J. Palumbo announced that PPAC was voted "Best Theater" in the 2009 Rhode Island Monthly Readers' Poll at last night's Best of Rhode Island® Party. The party, which has been held at PPAC for the past five years, benefits ArtReach, which is an educational partnership between PPAC and Rhode Island Monthly.

PPAC's President, J.L. "Lynn" Singleton, said, "I am very pleased that PPAC won the Rhode Island Monthly Readers' Poll for "Best Theater." We work hard year-round to guarantee that theatregoers will have a great time when they come to see a show at PPAC."

The Best of Rhode Island® edition of Rhode Island Monthly, with a special insert of PPAC's 2009/2010 season brochure, hits news stands at the end of July. ABC 6 will air a one-hour Best of Rhode Island® primetime special, filmed live at the party, on Sunday, July 26 at 9P.
