Looking for something to do with your kids during the winter and spring? Why not introduce them to the magic of Live Theatre at the new state-of-the-art Ocean State Theatre in Warwick! Ocean State Theatre Company's Family Fun Fest features a variety of performances, being held on select Saturday mornings from December through May.

The Family Fun Fest Schedule features the following performances:

December 14 - Keith Michael Johnson presents Bubbleology
As seen on The Discovery Channel. "How do bubbles do that?" That is what this show is all about. The science behind the magic unfolds like a mystery, making this show both educational and unforgettable. You've never seen bubbles like this before...you can learn a lot from a bubble!

January 11 - The Toe Jam Puppet Band
Toe Jam Puppet Band offers children's zany and exuberant entertainment that families can enjoy together. The musical performances feature a unique combination of original songs and interactive storytelling. Audience members of all ages are encouraged to sing and dance along. Get ready for a Car Wash, watch out for the Flying Laundry and be prepared to laugh with glee, Toe Jam style!

February 8 - Linda Peck presents A Circus of One
In between interludes with her musical saw, Linda tangles her way into a picture frame, extracting zany props from her suitcase - parasols, fans, rings, and boxes - while audiences wonder what she will produce next. Her lighthearted mix of theatre, mime, circus illusion and tightrope walking, tells a silent story of human foibles, as she interacts with audience members of all ages and creates a whimsical world of wonder.

March 8 - OSTC presents How I Became a Pirate
Melinda Long's best-selling book comes to life in an unforgettable musical adventure filled with wacky pirates and silly songs including "A Good One To Boot," "Green Teeth," "I'm Really Just a Sensitive Guy," "You've Got to Talk Like a Pirate," "Pirates Dot Aaargh!," and many others.

April 5 - Bruce Kalver presents Magical Moments: A Magic Show for All Ages!
Words like "unbelievable," "amazing," and "impossible" have been used to describe Bruce's magic. He entertains and amuses audiences with his sleight of hand and manipulative skills and performs miracles with everyday objects lIke Balls, cards, coins, and ropes as well as presenting wonders with magical props from around the world. With his years of experience and easy going manner, Bruce charms his audience with comedy, colorful, visual magic tricks, and lots of audience participation.

May 3 - LuckyBob presents Magic Juggling Comedy
Providing a variety show that includes magic, juggling, comedy, and audience interaction, LuckyBob's uncanny magic and juggling skills take audiences on a roller coaster of laughs, cheers and smiles, while he juggles random objects, reads minds, pulls cards out of the air, and vanishes objects. Superb, sophisticated and stylish, LuckyBob leaves audiences wanting more!

Family Fun Fest performances will be held at 11:00 am at Ocean State Theatre located at 1245 Jefferson Boulevard, Warwick, RI. Single tickets are $10.00 each with packages of three shows or more for $8.00 per ticket. Discount rates are available for groups of 20 or more by calling (401) 921-1777 x112. Tickets are on sale at the box office Monday through Friday from 12 noon - 6:00 pm, Saturdays from 12 noon - 4:00 pm, and from 12 noon until curtain time on performance days.
