African, blues and gospel music is used to tell the story of Azu, an African Spirit who must go to the New World with the stolen children of Africa and safeguard the essence of Kwanzaa until they find freedom again. Featuring Jeannie Carson, Danette Briggs, Anthony "Raidge" Burton, Jonathan Pitts-Wiley, Skylia Briggs,Steve Ellis, Jason Quinn, Victor Terry and Ricardo Pitts-Wiley.
