Contemporary Theater Company Announces Auditions For Summer Season It's starting to feel like an early spring, and The Contemporary Theater Company is looking forward to its summer season!

On Sunday, March 25 from 6 pm - 10 pm and Monday, March 26 from 5 pm - 10 pm, The Contemporary Theater Company will hold auditions for their summer mainstage productions, Peter and the Starcatcher and Unnecessary Farce, and outdoor Shakespeare on the Saugatucket productions of A Midsummer Night's Dream and Twelfth Night.

Actors should prepare a 1-2 minute comedic (or semi-comedic) monologue. Actors may also prepare a 1-2 minute Shakespeare monologue if you would like, but it is not necessary to be considered for the Shakespeare shows.

The Contemporary Theater Company values collaboration and positivity among their ensemble, so the auditions focus on how the actors work with the directors, adapt what they've prepared, and take new direction.

Auditions will be held in the theater unless otherwise Email Maggie Cady at cady@thecontemporarytheater.com or call (401)-218-0282 to sign up for an audition slot. Each slot is 15 minutes long.

No roles for children under 15 at this time. The CTC frequently casts across given character descriptions of gender, race, and age, so we encourage everyone to audition for any show that they are interested in.

Anyone interested is encouraged to audition; there are opportunities for actors of all experience levels!

For more information, contact Maggie Cady at cady@thecontemporarytheater.com.
